THE CONCISE TAFSIR OF SURAH AL-FATIHAH OF THE HOLY QURAN

This is not a translation of the Quran but a dirayat tafsir by reasoning Quranic concepts. It relays the Quran's message that was revealed in a poetic style and embellished with literary arts by Allah.

THE MEANING OF SURAH AL-FATIHAH

Verse: 1-7        ( Pray like this )
"In the name of God / Allah, the most gracious and the most merciful,
Praise be to God / Allah, the Lord of all beings, the most gracious, the most merciful and the master of the day of divine justice.
O Allah, our Lord, You alone we worship and You alone we pray for help: By Your grace, guide us to the straight path / Islam so that we become righteous people whom You blessed and loved."

Explanation: In this surah the Arabic expression "ghayril maghDuubi 'alayhim waladDaalliin" which in simple translation to English means "not (to the path) of those who incurred Your anger and who strayed from the right path" is interpreted as "so that we become righteous people whom You loved." Because it is considered with the counter concepts as a prayer.
